Dead Simple Fingerless Mitts
Done in wool, these one-skein fingerless mitts will work up thick and keep your hands toasty warm on chilly days. Work up in no time!
Interesting note: I would guess my hands to be approximately a ladies medium, but then I don’t make a habit of getting my hands sized, so I can’t really say for sure. These mitts, when first finished, fit my hands snugly--not tight, but not at all loose. After turning them inside out to weave in the ends and then back the right way around, they loosened just a bit. I then handed them to my husband, who’s a big 6’3” guy with big man hands, and asked him to see if they fit him. He said the thumb was just a bit tight. Not thumb-strangly tight, but a wee bit more than comfortably snug. (He has since appropriated them and claimed them as his own.)
So apparently, these mitts have a bit of stretch to them! :)
Items made from my patterns are intended for personal use, sale, or world domination--as long as I get a parking space wherever I want once the world is yours.
