It would be your birthday this week and I would give anything
to sit next to you and ask for guidance. You would know the
exact right answer, let me believe you were brilliant, only to
figure out later you didn’t figure it out for me. It was through
your patience and talking you guided me to the correct answer.
That was one of the things I admire most, you let us fall and held our hands getting back up.

I feel lost Mam, I am struggling to understand why people
treat each other so cruelly. I am struggling watching friends lose family
members to disease that should be cured. I am struggling to explain to my children why everyone is not treated with dignity and respect. I wish you were here.
