A debutante and her partner waltz and twirl, creating a simple, yet lovely cable design. This pattern was inspired by a debutante ball and the beautiful and intricate patterns created by the young dancers.

These socks have a basic, twisted, cable design and are suitable for the cabling debutante, but will also keep the interest of a seasoned knitter. The pattern is mirrored on the second sock, creating a pleasing pair.

The pattern is written to fit a 23cm/9” foot circumference, and the fit is very similar to a plain sock of 64sts. It would not be difficult to adapt the pattern for other stitch counts or yarn weights.
