This bonnet is intended to be used as a photo prop in newborn photo sessions and to fit most newborn babies weighing between 5 and 8 lbs with a head circumference of 12”-13”. It is not intended for every day use. Never leave baby unattended while wearing or using your finished item.

It is knit flat then seamed. You will need crochet skills if you choose to crochet the ties. However, you may also knit a 3 st i-cord instead.
