This is a pdf knitting pattern, written in English, using standard US terminology, for you to knit a worsted weight Declan Bonnet in sizes preemie to one year, plus 18” doll.

Lily B’s is not affiliated in any way with the Our Generation, Journey Girl, or American Girl Doll brands. I own all dolls I share photos of and love to knit things for them

This sweet bonnet will add some lovely texture and visual interest to your photography sessions but please always remember to use this prop with supervision. Alternatively, it is a lovely addition to your 18” doll’s wardrobe!

SIZES: Preemie, 18” Doll, Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months

This pattern is well-suited to a beginner knitter as it is knit flat, then seamed.

It requires worsted weight yarn on 5mm (US8) needles. You will need to know how to cast on and off, knit, purl, and knit two stitches together.

MY GAUGE: 18 sts + 24 rows = 10x10 cms / 4”X4”
