This hat was designed specifically for the 2023 Puget Sound LYS tour for Needles and Hooks in Lake Forest Park, WA.

It uses slipped stitches and simple cable/twisted stitches to create a decreasing swirl, ending in a stunning top. The colorwork is for the adventurous beginner, as well as the seasoned knitter, since you are never working with more than one color at a time.

Try it using a bold variegated with a tonal or solid. Most worsted yarns have enough yardage to allow two hats, inversing the colors.
