A gender neutral nautical cardigan worked from the bottom up, with top down sleeves to keep finishing to a minimum.
The cable anchor and chain, along with a bit of contrast color at the hem and cuff will keep your little sailor looking sharp and ready for adventure.
The cardigan was designed to allow for about 2” of positive ease for layering.

I used a washable cotton blend for summer time wearing, but any washable sport weight yarn with good stitch definition will work
