This pretty and versatile cardigan is knitted in one piece from the bottom ribbing up to the armholes, then fronts and back are worked separately. Short rows are used to shape shoulders and are seamed using a three needle bind off. Tubular cast on and bind offs are optional. Button bands are worked separately and seamed to fronts as they are worked. One row buttonholes are used. Sleeves are worked separately and sewn in. This is a body conscious rib pattern meaning it will gently hug your curves before blocking. Sizes listed include 2” of positive ease after blocking. So if you knit a size 40” bust, your sweater will result in a size 42” after blocking. If you would like it to fit looser, consider making a larger size. You may also refrain from blocking for a sleeker, closer fitting look as seen in the photos. Model is wearing size 40”, unblocked.
