This consists of a cave (about 6 inches by 4 inches) covered with seaweed, that becomes the case for storing the range of underwater creatures you will make, which are

• mermaid - 5 inches high
• octopus - 5 inches high
• dolphin - 5 inches nose to tail
• starfish - 3.5 inches across
• fat fish - 3.5 inches across
• nautilus - 3 inches across

I have kept the patterns as simple as possible but you will need a bit of crochet experience.

Please note that I use English crochet terms.

Gauge is not important for this.

The creatures are all made using leftovers of DK yarn and the cave/case takes 100g super chunky.
You will also need: some stuffing, 2 buttons and a darning needle.

While I have shown one of each creature you could easily make more of any that take your fancy, just think about whether they will all fit inside the case for storage.
