Deep Vest
Deep Vest is a design that, with its deep V-neckline and fine button closure, offers many options for combining with your outfit.
It can be worn over a pretty shirt without hiding details like frills and collars, over the summer dress as the extra layer when it gets cooler, or simply with a basic top and a pair of jeans.
The airy brioche knit in combination with the sloping shoulders, provides a natural drape that follows the contour of the body.
The vest is knitted top-down, without any assembly.
A neck piece is worked in double stitch, from which stitches are picked up for the back piece and shoulders. From here, the shoulders are increased and the front piece takes shape. The front edges are worked along the way.
Increases are made at the front edge with characteristic double increases in brioche knitting, while decreases as well as increases form a beautifully curved armhole.
The Deep Vest is finished with a double-knitted edge with two buttons and fine knitted buttonholes. The bottom edge is finished with Italian bind-off.
