I love trumpet skirts. I love the way they fit around my hips, flow out at my knees, and flutter around my feet when I walk. It reminds me of wading out into the water, how it swirls around my ankles, splashes up around my knees. That thought was the inspiration for this skirt.

Purl Essence Sincerely Everyday ( 100% Acrylic), Sincerely Navy Blue
US size 6 circular needle 29 in

This pattern requires some intermediate skill, knitting in the round, increases and decreases, and basic cabling.
