Even in my work, sometimes, there is no need to use any bead or button…
Using this cute Deer appliqué you could easily embellish your clothes, blankets, bags… :-) And make your own unique embellishment.
This pattern includes step by step instruction and very detailed photo- tutorial. Instruction are written in English language, American terminology. The pattern is ready to download immediatelly after the payment.
Reccommended material:
Yarn weight: Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi) 100% cotton
e.g. Catania Originals by Schachenmayr SMC, Yardage: 136 yards (124 meters)
Unit weight: 50 grams (1.76 ounces), Gauge: 26.0 sts = 4 inches
You will need small amount of these colors: 179 camel, 105 beige, 162 coffee brown, 222 light pink, 110 black, 157 dark cinnamon. You will need about 11 grams of yarn totally.
Hook: 3 mm
Other material: needle with blunt tip (tapestry needle), common needle, common sewing threads
Size of finished appliqué : height 13.5 cm (5.3 inches) measured including antlers/ width of the head 8 cm (3 inches) measured including ears.
Level: beginner, but basic skills are needed! :-). You should know, how to crochet these stitches:
Chain (CH), Slip stitch (SlSt), Single crochet (SC), Half double crochet (HDC), Double crochet (DC), Increasing (inc): 2 SC in same stitch, Decreasing (dec): 2 SC together
