This is my christmas beanie pattern for 2012.
It only has three colors and at most two colors in one round and is therefore also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.

The beanie starts with a two-colored ribbing in blue and white, has a small tree border (peerie) pattern. Then comes the band of the deer family with mommy deer, daddy deer and the little fawn.
Behind them you can see the forest covered in snow.
The upper half of the beanie is covered by falling snow and a big white star with 6 little sitting fawns in them. And a tiny small blue star is in the middle of the crown.

I had much fun knitting it and wish you as much fun with it!
It can be knit from any 4-ply sock yarn leftovers (you need about 35 g of white and blue and 25 g in a red deer brown color).

For bigger heads you can use a bigger needle size and/or 5-ply yarn or both.

Meine Weihnachtmütze 2012 wird von einer Rehfamilie oder Familie Hirsch bevölkert.
Da ist Papa Hirsch, Mama Reh und das Kitz.
Die Mütze hat einen zweifarbigen Bund, gefolgt von einer kleinen Baumbordüre. Im Anschluss folgt Familie Reh. Im Hintergrund der verschneite Wald. Es schneit und obendrauf ist ein wunderschöner Stern mit 6 kleinen sitzenden Rehkitzen. Und ganz in der Mitte ein blauer Ministern.
Es sind maximal zwei Farben pro Runde enthalten.
Deshalb ist die Mütze auch für Anfänger geeignet.

Die Grösse kann über Garndicke und Nadelstärke verändert werden.
