Deer potato amigurumi
A cute and beginner friendly crochet pattern to make your own small deer potato plushie.
The PDF file is written in US crochet terms and consists of clear instructions and picture tutorials. This pattern leaves a lot of room for customisations to express your own creativity and you can use the materials and tools you are comfortable with.
For this pattern you do need some basic knowledge about crocheting in the round, how to make colour changes, the basic stitches, like: increasing, decreasing, ensembling an amigurumi, but overall some patience and a lot of enthusiasm!
Materials
2.5 mm hook
2 mm hook
scrap yarn or stitch marker
polyester fibre fill (toy stuffing)
yarn needle
fingering cotton yarn 2.5 mm in the colours: white & light beige for the deer
black for nose and eyes
Optional:
-Lace yarn - 1.5/1 mm
white for the eye sparkles & to make face indent
Size
Exact gauge is not important for Amigurumi, you can adjust the size by using thicker or thinner yarn and another hook size. If you do use the materials and exact sizes as listed above, your deer potato will be approximately 3,5 cm tall and 4 cm wide.
