Deery Me is an enDEERing wee knit for any occasion. Warm enough for outdoor play, the classic stag-head patterning makes it the perfect knit for special occasions as well. This pattern can be knit as a sweater or as a jaunty vest (sleeveless pullover).

You can also whip up a Deery Me Hat (in sizes baby to adult large) and Deery Me Mittens (in sizes toddler to adult large), or even an adult sweater for those who can’t resist a matching set!

Knit bottom up, Deery Me has steeked square arm holes and steeked v-neck, helping the stranded colourwork to fly off your needles. The sweater sleeves are picked up and knit down to the cuff, with short-row shaping at the shoulders. Knit with 2 inches of positive ease, this sweater/vest fits well with room to grow. There’s nothing more disappointing than a lovely knit outgrown too soon.
