Del Sol
This pattern is no longer available but a similar one is available HERE.
The Tunisian drop stitch perfectly mimics the hand-knit drop stitch and is useful for making a quick, lacy project since the stitches are much taller. The scarf created in this class will look best with a natural fiber; i.e. cotton, wool or linen, which can be blocked later. Students can use any yarn from sport to worsted, as long as the correct size hook is used (suggested hook size should be 2 or 3 sizes up from the suggested crochet hook size). Once the technique is learned, the student can later use any yarn and an appropriate hook to accomplish a variety of looks depending on their desires. Full pattern provided for the “Del Sol” scarf shown in photo. It is easily customizable for a wider project. Stitch multiple is provided.
