This beautiful cardigan is knitted in the new 100 % Norwegian pelt wool Sølje and Vilje 100 % Norwegian lambswool. This yarncombination works perfectly and provides lightweight, airy and comfortable garments. This is a jacket that fits all year round, even in the summer when the evenings get a little cool. The jacket´s name came by itself when I saw the similarity with the classic ceramic tiles from Delft in the Netherlands.

The jacket is knitted in the round with circular needles up to the neckline, and it is steeked in front and for the sleeves.
The pattern is a combination of knitted horizontal stripes and vertical stripes that are crocheted after finishing the knitting.
So you never knit with more than 2 threads at a time.

The button bands are both crocheted and knitted and the light brown mother-of-pearl buttons are included in the yarn package.
