This lovely raglan cardigan requires no seaming as it is knit from the top down. The yoke and body are knit on the flat, while the ¾ sleeves are knit in the round. The collar is the only additional piece to add after the main knitting is done. The combination of lacework, beads, and split hems create a stunning design that is simply elegant. The suggested yarn, Drops Baby Alpaca Silk, is cooling when hot, warm when cold and so soft against the skin.

The knitting techniques utilized in this cardigan include lace work, reading chart patterns, casting on stitches to edges of work, picking up stitches, beading, and increasing/decreasing techniques. This project is best for knitters with an intermediate skill level.
