I designed these mitts during a hiking trip to Arches national park, so when I started looking around for a name, the choice quickly became obvious. With a bold yet delicate cable twisting up the center and textured stitches on either side, the stitch pattern is at once quick to memorize and satisfying to make!

The original mitt pattern has a long-ribbed cuff that can be tucked into sleeves or folded up, but the length is easy to adjust.

Pattern stitches are charted only, but the remainder of the instructions are written.

You will also need - scissors, measuring tape, stitch holder (or piece of waste yarn), tapestry needle, and stitch markers.
