Delicious Simplicity
“Delicious Simplicity” is the result of my desire to create a hat in which the structural shaping respects the underlying design. As you progress through the crown decreases of this pattern, you will see the ribs converge and disappear into one another in an orderly fashion until there are none left.
In addition to the satisfying crown decreases, this pattern is all about options. It includes instructions for two yarn gauges (DK and Bulky), looks great inside-out, it can be made snug or slouchy, and even includes an early bind-off option to accommodate your messiest hair bun! And the best part is that it looks beautifully intricate when really it’s suitable for the greenest of knitters. One could even call it “deliciously simple”.
Sizing: All versions will fit the average adolescent/adult female as shown. If you’re knitting for a larger noggin, size up. You can also customize the fit with a bit of simple math.
