Delight in the Texture
This cowl is all about the texture. Starting with a double strand cast on to give bulk to the bottom edge, working into different slants, eyelets, nupps, raised stitches and rows, finally finishing with a folded hem edged in a picot texture…..WOW! And believe it or not, not too difficult and fast to work on size #8 needles. Some experience needed with Nupps or Bobbles would definitely make this project more enjoyable or maybe it is time to learn something new. Lots of tutorials out there on the internet or in books.
The 14 stitch pattern repeat makes this infinity scarf easy to reduce the width to cowl size or any width you would prefer. A 73 round pattern, well you know that means, a quick complete.
Materials needed include 680 yds. DK weight yarn for the full width, 62”, 350 yds, for a cowl half that width. Size #8 Circular knitting needle 29” and a stitch marker.
This pattern is written with a chart only, so please be aware.
Thank you for taking a look, and enjoy your new project.
Any question, please feel free to e-mail, would love to hear from you.
