Delphine Cowl is a promise of warmth and refinement. Its “Moebius” shape allows you to keep your neck warm while clearing your face.

The Delphine is a perfect introduction to brioche knitting. The pattern is created from two simple brioche stitch knitted in the round. The pattern includes written explanations and a link to a video specifically created for the Delphine collection!

Width: 21 (24) cm / 8.25 (9.45) inches

Suggested Needles
Size 3.25 mm (US 3) circular knitting needles with a 40 cm / 16 inch cable, or the needle size you need to achieve gauge. You will need a second circular needle of the same size.

The second circular needle will be used to accommodate your active stitches when you undo your provisional cast-on. If you don’t have two circular needles of the same size, you can use a smaller size.

Gauge
24 stitches x 28 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in stockinette knit in the round, after blocking.

Yarn
This pattern is designed to be knitted with either a fingering weight yarn, a fingering weight yarn coupled with a thread of mohair or with a DK weight yarn. The last two options will give you a warmer cowl for winter whilst the first option is perfect for cooler spring weather.

You will need two different colours:
Main Colour : 300 (360) m / 328 (394) yd;
Contrasting Colour : 250 (300) m / 273 (328) yd.

You can replace the fingering size yarn held double with mohair yarn by approx. 400 m / 437 yds of DK size yarn.

The sample is presented in the superb Baby Alpaca wool from La Bobineuse in the colour crème (MC) and rose pâle (CC).

Taille des aiguilles
