The Delphine Mittens are a fun and easy initiation to brioche knitting. You will learn to master a few stitches while making a magnificent pair of mittens!

This pattern is designed to be knitted in fingering yarn, in fingering yarn coupled with a strand of mohair or with a sport size yarn. The last two options will give you warm mittens for the winter, while the first option is perfect for those little autumn chills.

Size : Hand circumference
1 : 16cm (6.25 inches)
2 : 18 cm (7 inches)
3 : 20 cm (8 inches)
4 : 22 cm (8.5 inches)

Gauge
28 stitches x 37 rows = 10 cm (4 in) in stockinette knit in the round, after blocking

Yarns
This pattern is designed to be knitted in fingering wool, fingering wool lined with a mohair strand, or even sport-weight wool. You need two different colors:
MC: 85 (95, 105, 115) m / 93 (104, 115, 126) yd;
CC : 58 (64, 70, 76) m / 63 (70, 76, 83) yd.

If you choose to make the fingering version coupled with a thread of mohair, you will need the quantities above for both the fingering thread and for the mohair thread.

The sample is presented in the superb Baby Alpaca wool from La Bobineuse in the colors crème (CC) and rose pâle (MC).
