YARN: (two weights)
Fingering: 1 skein. 400 yards / 100 gm.
Color 1 / C1 Purple. 80% merino; 20% silk.
Light fingering: 2 skeins. 274 yards / 50 gm.
Color 2 /C2 Certusse 60% wool; 20% alpaca; 20% silk.

Needles: US# 4, US# 3

Construction: This classic crescent shawl is knitted from the middle of the neck outwards. US #4 used for knitting the body of the shawl. US #3 used for the lace border.

The shawl has 3 sections:
Section 1: Stockinette body in C1
Section 2: Mosaic stitch in C1 and C2. Two stitch cable in C1 running on the top of mosaic pattern.
Section 3: Lace border in C2. Finishing with picot bind off.
