Delta Sweater
INTRODUCTION
Delta Sweater is a sweater with an oversized and relaxed vibe, and the high slits makes it comfortable to wear and creates an interesting look. Worked on large needles, and in a thick but light yarn combination, this sweater is a quick and lucious winter project, or as the sweater to throw on top of a shirt or dress on a summer evening.
The sweater is worked top down in the round, with raglan increases. The sleeve sts are left to rest and the body is joined in the round, and then divided into a front and back piece that are finished off with a long double rib edge. The front is shorter than the back. The sleeves are then worked and also finished off with a long double rib edge. At last, stitches for the neckline are picked up, worked in double rib and then folded down.
SIZE GUIDE
Delta Sweater is designed to be oversized, and should have a “positive ease” of approx. 6 cm. The side slits make the sweater feel larger, so you can size down if you want a less oversized look.
For example, if you measure 73-79 (80-85) 85-90 (90-96) 97-102 (102-108) 110-115 (117-123) 125-130 (130-140) cm // 28.75-31 (31.5-33.5) 33.5-35.5 (35.5-37.75) 38.25-40.25 (40.25-42.5) 43.25-45.25 (46-48.5) 49.25-51.25 (51.25-55.5) inches you should knit a size XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) (4XL) 5XL.
