This Delwyn Dragon is super adaptable for any sized yarn, just gauge your hook correctly. For example I used Bernat Baby Velvet and a 3.5mm hook and it came out to be roughly 14.5” tall.
I only used 1 skein of the main color and scrap (roughly 10-30yards) of the added colors (horns, spikes, wings).

I consider this an intermediate pattern due to the construction of the dragon, but I think an adventurous beginner could tackle it no problem.
