This simple skirt is worked in the round from the top down. It is fitted through the waist to upper hips and has positive ease through the hips for ease of movement. Shaping is worked as you go as are the vines and leaves that encircle the body of the skirt. The diagonal vines and uncluttered A-line shaping of this skirt give the illusion of movement, a bit of swing and draw the eye making this skirt flattering to all body types.

Additional Sizing Info: Elastic is inserted into the waistband casing after the knitting is complete.
Choose the size to make based on your hip measurement, adding 2-4” to your hips for ease and choosing the size that reflects that measurement. The waist measurement can be fine-tuned when the elastic is added.
