Denim Sky
A lightweight cowl to wear to lunch with friends and walks in the fresh air. Echoing the texture of a denim fabric, it’s easy to wear. The fabric is reversible so you can just throw it on and go. No fuss.
Worked in rows, you have a choice of finishes. You can make a regular cast-on and then seam it into the round. Or, for a seamless finish, make a provisional cast-on and then bring it together by grafting or 3-needle bind-off.
It is an easy intermediate knit. The stripes progression holds your interest through the project. The fabric creates a natural bias as you knit, so the stripes are slightly angled, like a denim twill.
This was an exclusive pattern for The Loopy Ewe Giftables Club, Spring 2015. Single pattern is now available for all to purchase.
