Dennis wears a stripey jumper with a shawl collar, shoes with real laces, a proper little sling bag, and a ready made camera complete his look. This pattern is 13 pages long and has lots of photos to help you along the way. This pattern is for those with some crochet toy experience.

Yarn Substitutions: It is often difficult to get the exact same yarn as stated in a pattern. You can substitute any listed yarn with another yarn of the same weight to achieve a similar look and size. The yarn weight used in this pattern is double knit which is also known as light worsted or 8 ply. You can also make a bigger version by using thicker yarn and a bigger hook, or a smaller version by using thinner yarn and a smaller hook.
Gauge: Gauge is not important in this pattern. Just make sure that your knitted fabric is tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through.
Stitches Used: Chain, Magic ring - or adjustable ring (Used as the beginning of crocheting in the round), Sc - single crochet, Inc - increase by working two single crochets in one stitch, Dec - decrease by single crocheting two stitches together as one, Sl-st - slip stitch, Fasten off - break yarn and thread it through the one loop remaining on your crochet hook, BLO - crochet into the back loops only of the crochet stitch, FLO - crochet into the front loops only of the crochet stitch.
