The Dennis Top is worked seamlessly top-down. It features a perfect fit at the shoulder and a classic silhouette to match all of your outfits.

First, the back is worked flat to the underarm. Then, stitches are picked up for each shoulder, and a set of short rows is worked to shape the shoulder and neckline slopes. The front and back are joined at the underarm and worked in the round to the hem. Finally, stitches are picked up at the neckline and armholes and worked in 1x1 ribbing. The neckband is folded and the hem and armhole bind-offs are neatly finished using the sewn bind-off method.

The pattern includes links to companion videos and video tutorials.

NEEDLES
— 4 mm / US6 circular needle, cable length 80 cm / 32” for the body (or needle size to obtain gauge)
— 3.5 mm / US4 circular needle, cable length of at least 80 cm / 32” for the ribbing (or needle size to obtain gauge)

GAUGE
21 sts x 30 rounds in stockinette stitch in the round on gauge- size needles (for my sample, 4 mm/US4 needles).
Please, note the suggested yarn blooms and expands after blocking. You must compare your gauge to that of a blocked swatch in order to achieve the right results.
