I wanted to create a simple, asymmetrical garment…not quite a poncho, not really a shawl, maybe an elegant, oversized bib? Not exactly sure what it is…but it’s made of three panels, seamed together. It uses laceweight yarn.

I found that the Cotton Gima softens with use, and after hours of soaking in cold water. Blocking brings out the veil stitch.

Finished measurements are 14” wide by 35” long, but you can easily enlarge by just adding on cast-on stitches, using the gauge as the guide.
