The “Derailed” Scarf pattern features a very simple large mesh Grid. The Main Color is then crocheted in 2 long panels and weaved in and out of the Grid.

I used a #3 crochet thread which had a metallic strand for the Grid colors.
I used a sport weight sparkling mohair for the panels.

Finished off with multi color fringe in all the colors.

I have also made this with heavier yarn and it turns out beautiful.

The pictures do not do this justice. It is very dressy and perfect for an evening out.

Beginner friendly and intermediates will fly with this one.
