Derek is super smart! He can do complicated mathematics in his head in seconds. Not only smart in mind but also smart in appearance, Derek never leaves the house without his bow tie!

This pattern is for Derek the dinosaur, a crochet amigurami design.
The pattern can be made using various yarns and hook sizes. Mine was made using a 3mm hook and Eco cotton DK yarn. Use the right size hook for your yarn weight so that the stuffing does not come through. One ball of yarn (100g) was plenty for this pattern along with a few smaller ammounts for the spikes.
Derek can be customized with different features. A bow tie is included in this pattern but you could switch it up with a party hat, scarf etc.
