Derey cardigan is a classical raglan worked back and forth on long circular needles top-down with raglan increases. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or long circular needles with the magic loop technique. This pattern is so customizable depending on your preferences for length. This cardigan should be worn with 3.5-5 inches/9-13 cm in positive ease at the chest.

Cardigan sizes: 0-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (12-24 months).
The sizes 0-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (12-24 months) correspond to a chest measurement of approximately 14.5-16 (16-17.5) 17.5-19 (19-20.5) inches/36-40 (40-44) 44-48 (48-52) cm.

Finished approx. measurements (after blocking):
Chest circumference:
0-3 months - 19.5 inches/49 cm
3-6 months - 21 inches/53 cm
6-12 months - 22.5 inches/57 cm
12-24 months - 24 inches/61 cm

Gauge swatch (blocked):
21 stitches x 35 rows in texture pattern on U.S. 4 (3,5 mm) needles = 4x4 inches/10x10 cm.

Suggested needles:
U.S. 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle (16-32 inches/40-80 cm) and U.S. 4 (3.5 mm) double-pointed needles (if the sleeves are not worked using the magic loop technique); or the necessary needle size to obtain gauge.

Suggested yarn:
Worsted (9 wpi) weight yarn (Wool-Merino 100%; 50g (1.76Oz) = 126 yards (115 m): 120 (150) 185 (220) g. FibraNatura Dona (color: Amber - 103) used.

Materials needed: 0.85 inch/2.2 cm buttons 5; scissors; stitch markers; tapestry needle.
