Dérive is your favorite chunky cabled sweater reimagined. Keiko’s modern design features an organic, asymmetrical cable pattern, a relaxed, dropped shoulder silhouette, a split hem, and a generous turtleneck. Worked in Chickadee Organic Heathers and Owlet held together throughout to create a warm, subtly-marled fabric that seems to glow from within and is irresistible to the touch.

This pattern can also be purchased as part of the 11 piece collection, Atelier.

construction
Sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up to underarm. Front and back are separated and worked flat to shoulders. Shoulders are shaped with wrap-and-turn short rows. Once shoulders are joined, sleeves are picked up from the armholes and worked in the round. The collar is picked up and worked in the round in 2x2 ribbing. Both yarns are held together throughout.
