This is a beginner-friendly pattern of a Derpy Dinosaur, the first pattern release from my Roly Poly Crochet series. It is a quick and easy project for beginners to learn some basic stitches of amigurumi.

Materials

• James C. Brett Flutterby Chunky in Mint (B11) and Lemon (B09)
• 3 mm hook
• Stuffing/polyfill (~ 21 g)
• 9 mm safety hook
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needles
• Scissors
• Optional: scrap pieces of pink yarn to add blush

Size of finished product

• Diameter ~ 8 cm
• Height ~ 12 cm
• Width (snout to tail) ~ 10 cm

Alternative sizes

You may use other yarn weights with this pattern and a matching hook size to create various sizes of the Derpy Dinosaur.
