Des Chaussettes Intemporelles - Timeless Lace Socks
I found a super-soft crochet yarn labelled only “No 5” and those had to be made into socks.. Because of this I can not be 100% certain that the yarn I have suggested will fit, but it should.
Gauge is crucial for this pattern. Any durable (sock) yarn, suitable for lace and that fits gauge can be used.
The size fits me perfectly, with a 23.5 cm long foot.
Add or skip pattern repeats to fit your foot, and if you have some experience with lace and sock knitting, the socks can be adjusted to fit any foot.
I used 4 small balls, 20 gr each, of this natural-colored “crochet” cotton yarn.
Because it is cotton, I chose to add an elastic band at the top of the sock, as it would have stretch out and lost it’s shape and hold with out.
If one is using other kinds of yarn with more natural stretch, it might not be necessary with an elastic.
Also this is my first lace sock knitting pattern I have ever written down properly and published, so I hope it will be clear and understandable.
If there is any problems or questions, please contact me.
Happy knitting! :)
