Desaturate is worked seamlessly in two parts. The longer section has a garter stitch fade to stockinette, and the short section has a simple eyelet and texture pattern. It’s a pointy rectangle that can be worn around the neck like a scarf, or around the shoulders like a wrap or shawl. The shorter section uses only 40 g of yarn so it is ideal to use a precious leftover yarn!

Recommended yarn: 2 skeins of Bleu Poussière’s Pied Bleu and 40 g of Woolly Mammoth Fibres’ BFL/Gotland 4 ply
If substituting yarn: Fingering weight yarn in two colors: 800 yards of color A and 160 yards of color B
Needles: 4.00 mm (US size 6)
Other: 1 stitch marker, yarn needle

Desaturate est tricoté en deux sections sans coutures. La plus longue section consiste en un dégradé de point mousse qui mène à du jersey. La petite section est en dentelle et texture simple. C’est un rectangle à pointes, qui peut être porté autant autour du cou comme un foulard qu’autour des épaules comme un châle. La petite section n’utilise que 40 g de laine, donc ça peut être pratique pour utiliser un précieux restant de laine!
