This fast and fun hat is the perfect choice for that single skein of bulky yarn you’ve got hanging out in your stash. I wanted to create something that played well with both solids and variegated yarns. This smocked ribbed hat does the trick!

You will be using US 13’s in both 16” and DPN’s (or you can do the entire hat on DPN’s, whatever you prefer).

You will use up nearly the entire skein of bulky. Use your leftovers to make a cute pompom!
