I recommend two sized needles in this pattern for people trying their hand at mosaic for the first time.

You will need three contrasting colours for this wrap; the yarn requirements are:

C1 (440 yards /366 meters) 165 grams
C2 (220 yards/ 202 meters) 128 grams
C3 (550 yards / 503 meters) 295 grams

This pattern can be knit with any yarn. My friends who were kind enough to test this pattern for me used a variety of yarn, both hand-dyed and box store yarn, and they all looked beautiful.
