Desert Meets the Sea Cowl
This listing is not for a finished item. It is for the crochet pattern to make the item pictured.
The Desert Meets the Sea Cowl Crochet Pattern is a thick and warm neck warmer with a highly textured design. The cowl starts narrower to fit close to your neck and face and gets wider at the base to drape over the shoulders.
The pattern features written directions and calls for 220 yds of bulky weight, size 5 yarn and an K10.5/ 6.5 mm hook. For this easy level pattern, you should know how to complete half double crochet stitches and work into the 3rd loop of those stitches. This pattern also uses the herringbone stitch, which is essentially a variation of the half double crochet. I include a mini-tutorial to work the herringbone stitch.
This listing includes two versions of the pattern to download. The first is a full photo 5 page version, the second is an ink friendly version, 4 pages long. I recommend reviewing the photos in the full photo version, even you plan to print the ink friendly version.
Feel free to sell the items you make using this pattern, but please provide appropriate credit for the pattern.
