Desert Sage is a beautiful, flowering plant that thrives in the harshest conditions. It is native to the desert edge, surviving drought and pests to bloom in the scorching summer heat. It provides a refuge for hummingbirds and butterflies, passing on life-giving nutrients. It does not wilt under opposition, but shines radiant in a barren landscape.
This is who I want to be when I grow up. So I’m arming myself with Desert Sage Arm Warmers to remind myself of who I can be.
These ribbed arm warmers are knit in the round with some gorgeous sage-colored stripes. The pattern uses a simple, yet stunning technique to create clean stripes, even in your purl columns. These make excellent gifts and it’s the perfect pattern for beginning knitters.
Make it a matching set with the Desert Sage Hat & Socks or get all three with the ebook!
Size
Unstretched Circumference: 6.5 (7.5, 8.5)”/16.5 (19, 21.5) cm
Length: 12.5”/32 cm (with notes for adjustments)
Since it’s entirely in ribbing, these have a TON of stretch. My 6.5” arm warmers can stretch up to 15”. They work better when tight fitting, so choose a size close to the circumference of your wrist.
