Desert Sunset Mini Scarf
This pattern was inspired by our visit to Sedona, AZ! The red rock landscape is simply beautiful, and it has an amazing glow at sunset! The yarn I used was a direct inspiration as well: Mary Gavan Yarns in the colorway “Sedona Sunset,“ purchased at the amazing local yarn shop in Sedona, Sedona Knit Wits! Mary’s yarn captured the colors of the area so perfectly!
• Pattern is written in US crochet terms.
• Yarn: DK weight (#3), approximately 225 yards. I used Mary Gavan Yarns
“Hoodoo DK,” 100% merino wool, in the color “Sedona Sunset.”
• Hook: 4 mm, or size needed to meet gauge.
• Finished size: Before blocking, approximately 36” long by 8.5” deep.
• Gauge: Before blocking - first 9 rows should measure approximately 2” wide
and 4” long.
