DESCRIPTION
The Desert Weather Shawl was inspired by and designed as a way to showcase beautiful and colorful variegated yarns. Two different colorways of variegated yarn make up each tip of this generously sized shawl while the middle solid color creates a platform for the lace pattern to shine.
This elongated triangle shawl is knit from tip to tip and features a calming garter stitch repeat on each end, broken up by a beginner-friendly center lace section. The way one variegated yarn transitions to the other reminds me of weather in the desert, warm during the day transitioning to cool at night. Desert Weather has a large wingspan and can be worn in many different ways.
NEEDLES: US 4/ 3.55 mm: 24” / 61cm long circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge. (This shawl is knit flat, however, you will need a circular needle to accommodate the number of stitches.)
