Svelte, empire-waisted Desiree will appeal to the smarter girl and woman. This sweater is shown in a lovely blue on page 8, but you can make it in any color to wear with your skirts or slacks.
Materials: Ten ounces Patons’ “Beehive” Crepe. (This is the only wool that should be used); 1 pair No. 10 “Parfrey” or “Beehive” knit- ting needles; 1 button.
Measurements (To fit 33-35in. bust): Length from top of shoulder, 21in.; length of sleeve from top of shoulder to cuff edge, 14½in.
Tension: 8 stitches to the inch in width.
