This pattern includes instructions for both Worsted (Aran) or DK yarn.

Worsted requires size 5 and 7 needles 16” circular needles. DK requires 4s and 5s.

Fair Isle knitted pattern (also called “stranded”) is charted in color.

The Simple design is great for first time Fair Isle knitters as uses only 2 colors in each row.

The hat was designed to use short lengths of yarn from The Stash in the Fair Isle Design, The main color requires approximately 2/3 of a stash skein.
