Knitting Pattern

As mentioned on social media leading up to the release of this pattern, I originally made this piece as a way to “destress” and rid myself of the negative energy I was feeling. I had a lot on my plate, including knit and crochet commissions, but I needed something that was mindless and didn’t require a lot of thinking. After all, this is supposed to be the task that I retreat to, not away from, my sanctuary hobby.

The Destress Shawl is a mindless, but definitely not boring, pattern that will work up in no time! It requires knowledge of the basic crochet stitches: sc, dc, and hdc. The original shawl is large enough to wrap around the human body, although I definitely recommend aggressively blocking as I and my testers have done (see photos). This creates a beautiful lacy drape, and really isn’t as intimidating as it sounds!
