This detachable hood was made with one skein of red heart super saver yarn. The color I used was Aran Fleck. You will need 4 larger buttons and 2 smaller buttons that match the color of the yarn to attach the hood to the coat. The hood is crocheted with half double crochet and isn’t to loose around the face. The back neck piece is single crocheted and fits inside the back of the coat which helps keep it in place and very warm.
