Detective Pikachu & Pokeball
Crochet pattern Amigurumi Pikachu & Pokeball (in English)
This tutorial contains a detailed pattern of crochet Pikachu.
When using similar materials, the toy without ears will be about 8.6”, with ears – 12.5”
You can crochet a toy from any yarn, only you will need to choose the size of eyes, nose and hook.
The pattern in PDF format includes:
- recommendations on the selection of materials and tools
- very detailed crochet pattern on 16 pages
- 71 photo process
- several video instructions
- my help if necessary
All patterns are written in standard US terms.
The pattern does not contain basic course of crocheting – you should already have the basic knowledge!
You need:
- plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby or analogues (100% polyester, 100g/120 mt or 3,53 oz/131 yrds):
- yellow 80313 – 1.5 skeins;
- brown 80337 (for tail and stripes) - quite a bit;
- black 80311 (for ears) – quite a bit.
- 4 mm hook / US size F;
- any thin red yarn and a hook of the appropriate size (for cheeks) (I use acryl yarn 50 g/200 mt or 1.76 oz/218 yrds and 2mm hook).
- 20 mm safety black eyes ;
- 11 mm plastic nose– if you do not have a nose, you can embroider the nose with black yarn;
- fine black yarn for embroidery fingers and smiles;
- strong yellow thread or yarn for tightening of the muzzle;
- 36” metal wire for tail frame;
- fiberfiller;
- scissors;
- stitch markers, needles or pins for fixing parts when sewing (desirable);
- yarn needle (with a blunt end and large eye).
You are most welcome to contact me if you have any questions about the pattern.
I would love to see your finished toy as well.
