These elegant mittens would be the perfect gift for your loved ones, giving them warmth yet freedom in the hands. They don’t take long to make either. They are the perfect “Gifted Embrace” this Autumn and Winter :)
Pattern has full instructions with photos to show you how to make twisted stitches, and both charts and written instructions are included for the flame panel.
Gauge/Tension: The mittens were designed with a tighter tension, but if you are having a lot of trouble obtaining gauge, you can try using sport-weight. Keep in mind that most people find that their tension is tighter when using magic-loop.
Sizing: To determine the most suitable size, measure the circumference of your arm, 3/4in or 2cm from the middle of your elbow towards your wrist.
Size A: Up to 9 1/2in (24.1cm)
Size B: Up to 10in (25.5cm)
Size C: Up to 10 1/2in (28cm)
The different sizing only affects the point where you have measured, down to the middle of your forearm.
Length of mittens: 14in (35.6cm)
Yarn: Solids or Semi-solid colours :)
Notions:
- 3-4 Stitch markers
- Measuring Tape/ruler
- Spare Scrap Yarn
- Yarn Needle
Please print only the pages you need after reading through the instructions :) I would highly recommend printing two pages to one A4 page.
